Erika Vogt at The Hepworth Wakefield

Erika Vogt installation ‘Speech Mesh – Drawn OFF’ is a site specific commission for The Hepworth and is her first solo exhibition in the UK by the American artist.

The work was on in display in The Calder, The Hepworth’s new art space in the old mill on site. After spending so much time in Saltaire, art in a mill is a familiar experience; the smell of lanolin, lots of light and industrial interior lends itself well and I loved Vogt’s use of the space.
