Great British Innovation Vote

The Science Museum, London

We were asked to create a website for the Great British Innovation Vote, part of National Science and Engineering Week and the Great British Campaign.

The website served as a platform to create hype for the project while also providing a secure space for submitting votes. During the course of two weeks, over 90,000 unique visitors accessed the Science Museum server, which also witnessed its largest ever number of online visitors at one time. The website facilitated the secure casting of 50,000 votes, which played a crucial role in making the campaign a success.

Client testimonial

Maraid showed great enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the project. They came up with creative ideas, showed attention to detail and have the all-important ability to just get things done. It was a demanding project with multiple stakeholders and they managed to keep on budget and schedule despite being thrown a few last minute challenges. Overall the project was a resounding success: innovation endorsements from the Prime Minister to Stephen Fry; national press coverage, amazing Twitter uptake, 50,000 votes cast and over 90,000 unique visitors in the space of two weeks. Thank you, Maraid!
